Few Thoughts On Comfortable Life, Social Work and Ending Kashmir Dispute For Once and All

I am thankful to the almighty and everyone concerned because I hit the smooth road of navigation these days. When you have place to live, place to work, work to do, food to eat and everything is going on smoothly, you cannot ask for more, especially after all the hiccups and ordeals you face. The ordeals of ‘beautiful’ days are surprisingly not seen these days. Hitherto, I went through the gruel and completed myself like a camphor on fire which has been my routine in those days. I would be at least grateful that those days of pain are now a distant past. When your day ends in a constant high then you are certainly leading a good life. When a person like me is looked after well, enjoys life and leads a good life then definitely God blesses the land and bestows his good blessings upon this great land. May God bless the nation. The poor, weak, oppressed, marginal, irrelevant, finer people needs to find a good foothold in the community and should be supported to blossom and express their free will through the lives they live. When you serve the people it is service unto God and augurs well for the society.

Among many vices in the home nation is the struggle of the people to earn and make their livelihoods. I certainly live in a sophisticated place, work in much more sophisticated place with all the amenities and serene surroundings. It is the beginning of a new chapter in the history of the nation that these sophisticated places of working are introduced. My immediate previous generation worked hard in creating these beautiful places not to enjoy the facilities but to inspire and create a roadmap and model for the entire nation to follow and emulate. There has to be a working miniature model in the beginning which has to be replicated all over the land. We cannot work and grow in isolation and let the rest of the nation persist in filthy living, working conditions. The fruits of growth must spread uniformly and reach the last person. In general, the IT companies provide the best of working environments and the present company leads the pack in creating the ambience. They create a mini-world within the world and both these worlds must be bonded together and cannot lie in exclusion. This kind of advancement, development in one sector must affect the common man positively; only then will there be any value to that growth.

From my part, when I work in these companies, it’s not just the official work I do but participate in many welfare activities for the weaker sections, work hard to inspire a lot of common people towards giving their best, write this blog periodically on many societal issues to create awareness. Hence, I am squeezing time out of my schedule and as well work round the clock and 365 days a year for the larger good through my small job. Over the time, I am credited for any good happened in the society and the credit goes equally to my organizations as well for supporting me and bringing about the change through me. It is not just a single company but a group of them since I worked in 4 companies in the last financial year. As you can see by the picture evolving, the nation as a whole is benefitted by these companies not just by those who are affected directly in the form of employment but millions of others who are affected indirectly as well. The circle of influence is ever increasing positively because of them. This translates to the transformation to an inclusive growth story where the rich meet the poor, east meets the west and the poor becomes rich. When the opposites concur, it always good for the week. You always needs to create bridges to bridge the differences or reduce the gap which is the hardest part. Then this becomes the perfect amalgamation of all kinds of people belonging to different statures living in the society co-existing for each other and living in connection with one another. This is the ideal which I strive for through my dedicated work and wish everyone to assimilate and put into practice for a better world.

There are a lot of struggles in the nation and people hardly get a smooth life as mine. My only wish is a day should come when all the scores of common people watching me should not get angered or envious but rather feel that there is no difference between their lives and mine. I hope I continue to inspire them positively and elevate them to that level. One man’s difficulty should ease the life of another. But when a person at the top of the ladder works hard, it eases the lives of scores of people below him. India is a nation where people struggle a lot for bare minimum necessities and making ends meet. For a minimum requirement of water which many of us take it for granted, there are many households in the nation who walk an average 6 kms a day for getting it. There are still people in rural households who walk many kilometers for getting water and firewood. Take the case of women in rural households. The typical Indian woman, representing about 75% of the 60 crore women and female children in the country, lives in a village. She wakes up early in the dawn, working in the house taking care of the family. She then heads to the field to work under the hot sun in a back-breaking, forward bending motion till evening. Back home in the evening, it is time to cooking and more chores. In between, she has to walk several kms for getting water, firewood or any other essentials. As mentioned, the average distance to walk for getting water is 6 kms. This all adds up to a lot hard work and struggle. It is not just the women but a lot of people from different unauthorized occupations who had to go through severe struggles just to make a living and be a successful human in the end.

I am associating myself for this cause of lessening the hardships and struggles of these lesser fortunate people. I am working to that end and invoking or provoking a lot of people to work hard. When the nation becomes industrious, it becomes a revolution and eases the pain of these lesser fortunate people significantly. Easing the lives of people and making the lesser fortunate enjoy their living is easier in word but it has been an action on the ground as well. When you propel the nation to work as one, nothing is impossible. A leader is one who can unify people and directs their synergies towards common causes. It is an idea of building one nation which has been driven to unification and works towards common goals. No goal is unachievablewhen you can crowd source it and make citizens participate in it. Many hands make the work light.

One of the significant features of my work these days is how I am benefitting everybody. No person from any caste, community, religion, state has been left behind and all are equal beneficiaries. Even those who thought they are disadvantaged are feeling the advantage of the aura. This is by going to the extent of hurting my own interests that this has been possible to achieve. The real meaning of complete social justice can be felt in the society. As always, it is easier said than done. As reiterated multiple times, this should be one of the challenges in any society – to benefit every person at the same time.

Coming to the re-iterations, I already spoke about how big a problem is Kashmir for the south-east Asian continent and especially to the India and Pakistan nations. The past week also marks the Kargilvijaydiwas and it has been 20 years since the Pakistan made the misadventure of occupying high outposts and made an intrusion into the Indian territory. The Indians recovered the lost land but what about the lost lives of 527 Indian soldiers and 453 Pakistan soldiers. I am a school going student at the time of this incident and it is a war-like situation all around. Ever since I started reading news papers, every day comes with the news of few army lives lost in the daily battle with terrorists and Pakistan army. A life is lost every other day, be it army personnel or terrorist. How can any ordinary citizen live without terror with so much of violence around?Remember all these army personnel have families and parents to care for. In some cases, the newly wed husband or a father with young daughter or son are being killed in the gun fire. This is very disturbing and devastating news to digest and I cannot take it in the stride and leave like that forever without doing something about it. India is a peace-striving nation and never attacks by itself without provocation. I am a strong believer in having friendly relations with neighbor nations. But unfortunately we have seen Indo sino and Indo-Pakistani wars in the past. This should never happen again going into the future and all disputes must be resolved by discussions and through peaceful channels.

We must remember that prior to 1947, India and Pakistan was part of a single nation and it is only some communal forces which has divided the nation into two. How can two branches belonging to the same tree fight with each other. It is high time that the Indian media and the Government must stop looking at Pakistan as some enemy nation and instead treat it like responsible neighbor. A first step is all trade relations between both the nations are restored to fullest possible extent. India must bail out its neighbor from its financial crisis and Pakistan must welcome this move with open hands. There is nothing wrong in doling out financial help to a suffering neighbor. After all, Pakistan is a responsibility of India and its well-being is our nations liability. When a hand of the body is fractured, it needs to be repaired. Pakistan as well, needs to be repaired by the body and the ill concept of terrorism needs to be driven out of the nation. Those organizations like LeT, JeM which lure gullible individuals into this stench of terrorism must be educated properly and converted into right path. The root has to be fixed first instead of killing innocent terrorists who are directed wrongly by their heads.

It is a dream that both the nations become friendly neighbors in my generation and any external intervention towards that end is a welcome step. The Kashmir dispute should be resolved immediately and Kashmir solely belongs to India. Based on historic demographics, the land should belong to India, since India is not complete without Kashmir. The first Prime Minister of India and architect of Modern India, Nehru is a Kashmiri Pandit. When it has important links to the nation and eminent personalities emerging from its roots, how can it be separated from India and altogether eliminate a clan from its original land. It is like occupying West Bengal or Gujarat, eliminate its population and say these are not part of India. With all due consideration, the demography and geography of the land should not be disturbed which has a role to play in the progress of the nation. Pakistan must undo its mistake for its own well-being and for the good of its own people. The peace loving people of Pakistan must also urge its leadership to come out of its bad image and get into the path of progress. It has a fine PM and he should act with purpose to put the issue to rest. Every right thinking Indian will give the backing if Pakistan decides to end the rivalry and act in that direction with intervention from international fraternity if required.
