Coronavirus Part 32, Heartfelt Tribute to First Line Of Defence or Covid Warriors

The covid-19 daily infections in the country are waning for some time. The trend has been the same this past week as well. The average number of cases in the last week is around 2 lakh and it is 2.75 lakh the previous week. From the peak numbers 20 days back, this has reduced by half which is a good progress. If the same momentum is continued, the virus can be broken into pieces sooner than later. But 2 lakh is still a big number and this restricted mobility, curfew, lockdown has to continue for few more days till the infections are significantly low. The fight must continue against the virus in all forms and modes possible in a co-ordinated, consolidated, cumulative manner from all sides to emerge successful with limited damage.               This fight is being waged by the covid warriors in the country while others have little idea of what they ar...

Coronavirus Part 31, Limiting the Burdens of PM, Natural Disaster

To take stock of the situation once again, the pandemic is receding a bit and the curve is falling from the peak. There has been a drop in the weekly average number of cases by almost a lakh from 3.5 lakh to 2.75 lakh. If the country bucks up and act responsibly, there can be a fall in the cases going ahead. The five states of Maharastra, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh are contributing heftily to the list. Maharastra is way ahead with more than double infections than the second placed Karnataka in terms of total infections accrued from the beginning. One puzzle is why there are still these many cases recorded when these five states are under strict lockdown since past few weeks.               Indians are good at pretending to follow lockdown but don’t actually follow it. The case in the point is Maharastra which went into curfew mod...

Coronavirus Part 30, Pandemic Revolution and Seizing the Moment

The days of lockdown are upon us. This decision to impose lockdown has been delegated to the states in the second wave after the countrywide lockdown by centre last year.   The entire country is operating in restricted mode since the past many days. The states should feel the responsibility since one rule for the entire nation might not fit every one. Even my residing state imposed restrictions this week despite low numbers in order to further limit the cases. With this, the entire country is staring at some form of stay-at-home orders without wandering outside and in groups. Despite the country wide lockdown the average daily cases are hovering around 3.5 lakh in the last week. The restrictions should go on at least till the number comes in few thousands or within manageable limits. We are staring at an unknown tenure as far as the extent of lockdown is concerned with the current caseload.  ...

Coronavirus Part 29, Failed Democracies and Failed Vaccination

It just happened that I dedicated entire past post to covid-19 in the country. The seriousness of the issue warrants such reactions. There has been 300% increase in the average daily cases across the country for a good part of the month. If this doesn’t prompt you to act what else will. The country is recording the worlds highest number of cases in a day for the past many days. Even U.S. is not ravaged this hard in terms of number of daily cases. The country is accounting for 50% of the cases worldwide. This is not at all the position to be in as we are propagating more cases and deaths across the world. We need to solve the problem for the sake of the country and for a virus-free world. This has to be done as quickly as possible. The helpless Indians have been ravaged by the free flowing virus in the past one month.                Ind...

Coronavirus Part 28, Data On Second Wave, Philosophy Behind the Suffering

It has been a tough week and month for the country as far as covid-19 is concerned. This week saw covid cases touching 4 lakh per day and this month saw the cases exponentially rise to reach this far. On April 1 st , the cases are around 80 thousand and by April 30 th it increased 5 times to reach around 3 lakh 90 thousand. This 5 fold growth in the cases at this large numbers is an extremely worrying sign. They are calling it as a second wave. But even the first waveis also not this dangerous. The first wave never touched 1 lakh cases per day. But here we are talking about 4 lakh and sustaining at this level for many days. This April is the deadliest month of corona for India since its entry to the country.                     I just tried to do some number crunching ag...

Coronavirus Part 27, Undo Bubble Life, Request to Build A Great Capital in A.P.

The days of living in bubbles are upon us. These bubbles will prevent the spread of virus. They are bio-bubbles which are good in keeping us safe in this current situation. But there are also some other bubbles which are getting inflated day by day. My work over some time will give an outcome; the bubble has started to inflate, you work more and it gets much more inflated; till you reach a point where the inflation can no longer hold and the bubble bursts.   What happens when the bubble bursts, everyone quickly comments that a huge deception or fraud has been uncovered.                Generally fraud happens due to few reasons 1. When you give hopes to the people but there is nothing substantial, proving it a false hope. 2. When you cannot maintain the higher status quo, travel on a downward trajectory and hit the rock bottom 3. ...

Three Deteriorations To Be Resurrected, Five State Elections.

One of the keywords based on which I lived till date is – Priority. My life is not absolute or ‘me alone’ but shared. I cannot afford to live a complete life of my own without giving space for someone more important to co-exist and live. Whenever you work on multiple tasks, you work in the order of priority. When this priority is skewed, you will complete the tasks but end up giving wrong results. Without following the priority, the process is defunct and when the means is wrong, the end product you are building is also not a correct one.               In the same way, one needs to live by taking everyone’s lives into consideration, prioritise the importance of each life, prioritise the way of living and over a time build the correct product. I don’t want to disturb this priority and build something else. I don’t want to lead a ‘bulls run’ and kill everythin...
