A Resurgent America and A Resurgent American Health

 I had been continuing to work in the American Health care domain somehow, thankful to an opportunity which I found after getting relieved from an earlier one. To inform everyone in this space, my bond with Chicago has been broken few months back when I was relieved from the client after working for 5.5 long years. Though I was working from the same city by virtue of another remote position, the present client belongs to another region and the long tenure, tyrst with the organization of this city came to a close. It is a wonder that I could work for 5.5 years with a U.S. client based out of Chicago, starting from December 2019 up until May 2025. Though my present position was bad and I was left waiting for helping hand at an important time, I couldn’t ask for more after the support I received for a lengthy duration. I am thankful to my base client from Chicago as I got an opportunity to work in this beautiful city for the past three years and contribute at scale all throughout. As always, the strength and opportunity given by these organizations makes a difference to everyone within and beyond. I will continue to work in this city for the present for as long as possible through the remote position, if not I cannot survive anywhere else. It is a wonder that I could be sustained for so long when people like me will find it difficult to work for just few months in big nations, big cities and big organizations. I am all for the glory of my bread provider of the past 5 years and wish the company will scale many remarkable heights in employing and creating many individuals like me. I hope there is a provision to retire with same company, but we are from IT and can never predict where our lives will take a turn tomorrow. 

As I thank my great Health care client from Chicago and move past the story, I somehow found my footing in another health care position. So, my bond with US health care domain continues for now. I am talking about the job in this post because of the importance it had in times of uncertainty, difficulty, unpredictability and negativity. Everyone finds you when you are successful, but no one walks beside you when you are down and out with emptiness and many red flags. I see my life with many red flags and the job I had might be a shining light. I am also impressed by the great managers who provide me with an opportunity whenever required. For instance, right from filing for my H1 visa to finding onsite position to finding a project whenever I was relieved, it has been a stream of involvement of great managers who are all behind my story. I found the present position of last three months with the help of same ilk. Otherwise, who knows I might be begging on the streets. These people play their part in keeping me afloat. I hope it will continue for long. As I was once again employed in a health care domain completing 5.8 years of crucial work in US, I will touch upon the same topic for the rest of the post. In fact, I was employed in a company with name ‘Amerihealth’ the meaning of which I find from the name as keeping America and American health at the forefront. America and American health are resurging like never before, which strongly resonates with the times. I will touch upon these two themes in sync with the great work of the times to put these two on top. 

America has been on a path of resurgence like never before. There has been huge buoyancy in the market, huge upbeat in the economy and huge invigoration in the mainstream. Everyone has been moved for the better and the country has become a melting pot of vibrancy and activity from people all over the land. It is the time of the country. I don’t know about anything else much but look at the impressive streak of Hollywood in recent past as an example. Over the past 3–4 months and even before, Hollywood has staged a remarkable comeback—both artistically and economically—serving as a symbol of U.S. resilience and resurgence. Here's how the entertainment capital’s momentum reflects broader national vitality. Global box office revenue surged to $33.5 billion in 2025, marking a 12% year-over-year growth. Disney’s stock alone jumped 35% in 2025, driven by theatrical exclusivity and IP monetization. Films like Superman grossed $185M, with 70% of revenue from international markets, showcasing America’s cultural influence abroad. Theatrical chains like AMC saw 40% stock rallies, reflecting renewed consumer demand and confidence. Films ‘Superman’ and ‘F1’ have crossed $500M and Jurassic Rebirth $700M, showcasing the diversity of successful American entertainment properties. The most recent ‘The Fantastic Four: First Steps’ opened to an estimated $218 million at the global box office, demonstrating Hollywood's continued ability to capture worldwide audiences with compelling storytelling and cutting-edge production values. You look at anywhere, it is a winning streak and this is how it can reflect the buoyancy of the market, resilience of the economy, and even the cultural vitality of a nation. Films are more than entertainment—they’re economic indicators, social barometers, and cultural exports. When the film slate of this year is most successful of recent years, it can be said the nation is back on track and reaching the best it can be.  

While the films are one example of the ‘mood’ of the nation there are several other indicators which reflect the broader developments on the ground. When the persons in power operate day-in and day-out like true soldiers giving everything for the country taking humongous risks, it trickles down to the last person and benefits everyone. For example, I will tell once example of manufacture jobs added in last two years. Between mid-2023 and mid-2025, the U.S. economy added approximately 830,000 manufacturing jobs. You can never see this pace of manufacturing job growth in recent memory since the late 1970s. During a post-recession expansion in 1975–1979, manufacturing added about 3 million jobs over four years—roughly 750,000 every two years, comparable to today’s pace. Manufacturing employment declined sharply during 1980s-2000s, losing millions of jobs due to automation, globalization, and offshoring. During 2001-2009, the sector lost one-third of its workforce, marking the worst period since the Great Depression. From 2010-2020, there is modest recovery, but never exceeded 300,000 jobs gained over any two-year stretch. When the entire last 25 years never saw more than 3 lakh manufacturing jobs added in two-year stretch, the addition of 8.3 lakh in just past two years is a sign of resurgence of a nation from its earlier best. This is not a joke but a sign of nation progressing towards a land which values manufacturing prowess as a very strong foundation in nation building. When people are willing to work hard and are working hard as a slow shift from past, it creates a strong foundation for future leap. This is strong sign of a vibrant and industrious nation in the making. The reasons behind the surge - CHIPS Act, Inflation Reduction Act, and infrastructure bills pumped billions into domestic production. Companies moved operations back to the U.S. to reduce geopolitical risk. Growth isn’t just in autos or steel—it’s in semiconductors, EVs, clean energy, and biotech. 

Other indicators of a resurgent America - Achievement of unprecedented energy production levels making America the world's largest oil and gas producer, implementation of sophisticated trade policies generating hundreds of billions in revenue, impressive run by the tech leaders of world, huge developments in AI and space exploration etc. collectively demonstrate a nation that has fundamentally repositioned itself for global leadership. Infact, June 2025 marked the first federal budget surplus in nearly a decade, driven by strong tariff revenues and disciplined spending. This means US government collected more money than it spends – a true sign of fiscal prudence and those trade policies are actually working. When the financial standing of the US is in good shape, the citizens are also in better financial space and no longer ripped off. This all means consistency, persistency and perseverance will only do good for the country and puts it in a better shape. I am one of the working examples of this contribution who was in the foreign land serving above my mother land for the past 3.4 years. Once again, this is no less joke and has to be viewed with utmost seriousness to look after the ‘source’ well or whoever is the reason behind this. 

While this all paints a beautiful picture of ‘America First’, let us look at another important avenue of American health – the subject of my job. As I said, I have been working in this space for the past 5 and a half years during the prime time of my career. When I had been funded so much by one sector, I really like the ‘health’ of the nation to improve a lot. I would like to see many health care improvements in this country and become a nation where everyone is covered without worrying about the costs. There is already something good happening on the ground. America has achieved remarkable progress in life expectancy recovery. Life expectancy reached 78.4 years in 2025, reflecting a strong recovery from the steep declines experienced during the COVID-19 pandemic. This represents meaningful progress toward pre-pandemic levels and sets the foundation for continued improvement. Projections indicate even more substantial gains ahead, with life expectancy expected to reach around 79.3 years by the end of 2025. The Congressional Budget Office projects even more dramatic long-term improvements, with life expectancy at birth projected to increase from 78.9 years to 82.3 years over the coming decades, and life expectancy at age 65 projected to increase from 19.7 years to 21.8 years. The means the nation is becoming healthy and living longer. 

In addition, we need people and processes who rocks the boat and change something for the better. After all the effort spent in health care sector over the past many years, there have been sweeping reforms from federal government in the budget bill of 2025. This comprehensive legislation through One Big Beautiful Bill from a person who returned to power in most fashionable way has profound implications for Medicaid, Medicare, the Affordable Care Act (ACA), and the broader healthcare system, affecting millions of Americans through both positive reforms and controversial cuts. If it is not done in this time, it might not get another chance. We might not see the changes immediately but longer projections have a mix of positive and negative outcomes, tilting more towards negatives. For instance, the $930 billion in Medicaid cuts will significantly reduce federal healthcare spending over the next decade, contributing to deficit reduction efforts but at the cost of reduced healthcare access. New paperwork requirements and other logistical hurdles could lead to millions of people on ACA plans becoming uninsured, according to Congressional Budget Office. Taken together, nearly 16 million could end up uninsured by the year 2034 if federal government reduces its involvement and cuts the funds. Some provisions may provide states with increased flexibility in managing their Medicaid programs, allowing for innovative approaches to healthcare delivery that could improve outcomes while controlling costs. The Big Beautiful Bill of 2025 represents a fundamental shift in American healthcare policy, implementing substantial reductions in government healthcare spending while attempting to improve program efficiency and reduce fraud. Now that the huge boat has been rocked and suffering inflicted, it would be interesting to see if something changes for better by attempts from the rest. In other words, it is time to discuss more on the health care of US, do more on it and come up with a sweeping policy at federal and state level for the best and greatest health outcomes to bring US as the best health administrator in the world. If not, you are losing a valuable window and opportunity. 

American resurgence and America's health resurgence is both a reflection of and a contributor to the nation's broader renewal. A healthier America is a stronger America, better positioned to lead globally, innovate continuously, and provide opportunity for all its citizens. The nation is at the cusp of this new dawn of correlation where America’s health is creating a resurgent America. This country’s best days lie ahead, built on the solid foundation of economic strength, strategic partnerships, and renewed national purpose of today. When you have great films to watch where every frame becomes true master work of art, you become the essence of film itself – a living motion of true genius of art in practical world. We stand at the brink of this fascinating epoch of times where the greatest country tries to give the best to the wonder of everyone else.
