Journey of India from Going Green to Getting Inspired to Doing Hard Work to Overall Growth
It is a very tricky situation when you make someone cry. It is a daunting scenario with some fear when you make a country go green. All through the past decade or more, I had always lived and went about my actions by making someone sob over me. I am never self-conscious and never bothered if someone is weeping at my actions. It has been the norm these days that the person who has no control over how he will be received spreads an aura of ‘greenery’ all around. The fear is what will happen when these rivers of tears hit in rebound. Everything given comes back in due course and the big fear deep within is what will be the fallout when the sins are numbered. These actions reached a pinnacle when I flew in the skies and reached U.S. couple of years back. Rivers have overflown since then and oceans are filling up by rising the water level. If the situation is already high before couple of years, it has become highest in last two years as people have every reason to weep by looking at the proceedings. Lot of food given for weeping and unnerving. The ‘doers’ will be legally pursued and convicted of these crimes eventually. The persons will be made convicted felons by the justice system which will do its job in delivering justice for the suffering caused. Anyone watching me or observing me from homeland or foreign land knows about these transgressions. In this context we need to be cautious and work on two things: 1. Turn this ‘greenery’ to a source of inspiration and a fuel to the fire to ignite the engines and take-off from current standing. 2. Be careful and evade the harmful effects of receiving back in rebound due to karma. No one needs to worry about the second point other than the single person in question who perpetually receives a lot of flak for all the good done.
Let us delve into the opposite. We really need to work on the pathways where the people really feel good about themselves, get inspired and outgrow their original self. All the ‘greenery’ aside, we can really pride ourselves along the pathways that provide a huge inspiration for growth. As a responsible Indian, I really need to work from India, work in India and work for India. There are no two ways about it. Little did I imagine that changing the base location and migrating to another country would also do wonders for the home nation. Displacement from the home nation will also do a lot of good and work wonders for it. The same has been true for people like me where the home nation has fared well in the last two years without everyone on its land. The report card of India is splendid in the last two years. The best-performing government has gained momentum and is about to claim a record third term in the next few days. This is unseen in modern day when a leader will be democratically elected by 100 crore populace for three consecutive terms. Recovering from the effects of covid, the nation has posted record growth in the last 3 years. In the previous two years itself, the country posted growth of 7.2% and 8.2% respectively, far surpassing every major economy. The 4 quarter growth recorded in the last year stood at 8.2, 8.1, 8.6, 7.8, recording an impressive 8.2% for the entire financial year. Since how many days Indians are habituated to look at above 8 number growth rates continuously. The Q4 and entire years numbers are released a day back and with these numbers, under the circumstances, we can clearly tell the people are stationed at the right places and working along the right pathways to lead the country along growth. I felt it a year and a half back and the numbers reinforce the same this week. It can be said we are really working in the channels to propel growth which is not easy and cannot be imagined if people like me stayed back in home nation. The tremendous advantage has outgrown by a large margin the minor disadvantage I mentioned earlier.
It has been extremely tough these past couple of years where I put my body inline most of the days. As an Indian, I really need to work extremely hard to earn the approval and respect. As a growing economy, India needs to work really hard to stand on its legs and earn respect among its peers. This is a historic necessity, and the time is riper than ever for the country to toil and make its mark. This factor will transform the nation from primitive, developing country to matured, developed nation gaining the stamp of approval. I worked along these lines in the past couple of years and the same was reflected in numbers. In addition to logging tremendous growth numbers, the country has grown 9.9% in the manufacturing sector in the last one year, highlighting the hard work of a billion plus population. Industrial production grew by 10.3% year-over-year in August 2023, indicating strong momentum in the sector. The last year has done wonders for the manufacturing sector, propelling the nation to work harder and clock a double digit near 10% growth. Can you imagine this to take shape in slow and steady India of yesterday which reveals the nation is in the cusp of a hard mend towards a better future. When you work hard, you take legions of countrymen in similar path leading to unimaginable outcomes. GDP growth of 8.2 per cent for 2023-24 and 7.8 per cent in the last quarter of the fiscal has beaten even optimistic expectations, helped by a stellar performance of manufacturing, which is expected to sustain momentum in the current financial year as well. The significant growth in the fiscal year 2023-24 in manufacturing, industrial production, construction sectors, reflects the positive impact of various government policies and global economic trends. The nation needs to invest in hard work and leave every other short cut aside. If you have a choice to invest in anything being Indian, invest in toil. The work of the years from people like me has reached the crescendo and expressed itself in these stellar numbers. Without hard work, you cannot inspire, ignite and lead along the path of progress or growth. This is one main ingredient in making a great recipe.
Rhetoric is one thing; action is other, and impression is another. You can feel bad, talk bad and act worse under the aura of bad impressions leading to poor outcomes. Under the spell of good impressions, you are propelled in a complete opposite path as above. If you can leave a positive impression (far from the negative emotions) over the common citizens to ignite inspiration within them, you are doing great. The overall report of the ‘doers’ indicates outnumbering positive outcomes and this side of justice will also be delivered in time. It is very important for the leaders to remain in positions to ignite the fire, above all the emotions and move the country on a path of greatness and progress. From going green to getting inspired to working hard to clocking tremendous growth, the nation has made giant strides in a crucial time of its train journey to reach a great destination. Let us hope the similar journey continues for many more years to come.
