To Do is To Inspire & Develop and Drug Menace in the air

 

          My weekly update on the covid-19 in the country has hit a roadblock, a while ago and couldn’t proceed any further. This has been nearly a month and I feel frustrated at times as well, as I couldn’t continue something I am slightly good at. I need not expose what I write always but could have written for the sake of it undisclosed and even that did not happen. If I need to be truthful, I feel a greater urge to post online than the urge to write. I feel the tense moments at the time of posting for some unknown reason. I write for free, burning a lot of oil for the sake of exposition, if the third grade reason for writing is considered. The higher reasons have a slightly different purpose as I would like to share my thoughts, change the perspectives and create a better world.

          But as few others have uncovered before I could dig deep within, there is the other side of the coin – the urge to show myself to the world. While I don’t intend to be that way, there is a slight five degree angle, which when you look at this exercise, specifies the exhibition. I swear all other angles are proper, righteous, genuine with good intentions and had nothing to do with this minute, sneaky viewpoint. By the way, what happens when anyone have nothing to do something concrete, he becomes an epicentre of exhibition through online or offline medium.

          But once again I swear, that it is not all and there is more to it. The last 4 to 5 years are the period of extreme action and I did super-human exploits. If the world is the spread of canvas, I am the epicentre of extreme action. I did more in the period than entire earlier life put together. Being the epicentre, I set-off the ripple effect as the people who observe me also did more in this period. What do you do when you want a sports team to play better? You inject a stimulus in the form of inspiration to bring out their innate energies which transform their play. That is all you do - To inspire them from within which catapults them to the higher plane as a player. Otherwise, they just lie normal without the fire to take-off. Similarly, the world is a field and everyone is a player. When you inspire them periodically to live better, they will eventually reach the next level in their lives.

         As I read somewhere, a good teacher will teach you, a great teacher will also inspire you. This continuous application of fire, ignition, and spark to lit the light within, transform the self and then the landscape around us is happening for the past few years. This is the basis for the progress we make as an individual and as a nation. Once again, all we can do is to manifest the hidden passion of the individual and the nation. These have been the efforts I am putting towards, work I am doing day-in and day-out to inspire the people on a regular, weekly, monthly, yearly basis for a better tomorrow. This is also the only path that is laid out for me – To do or perish.

          I am an individual working at my own level on the turf and environment provided by the city, state and country. This work does not bear much significance when it is done briefly. But when you are in a mission mode for more than ten years inspiring one and all with your efforts and intensity, there can be gargantuan effect. When you got a life to create a story, make an epic out of it. Likewise, the seeds of ‘inspiration’ you sow on a regular basis will yield a bountiful of ‘development’ over the years in a vast spread. When a handful of individuals grow out of this inspiration, a region grows which in turn grows the state which in turn develops the country. This is one of the ways the deeds work, the treatment work, the efforts bear fruits and the country re-imagines itself over a period of time. As it occurs, the impetus lies in the steadfast dedication and rigorous routines of the common and great minds of the country to visualise and make the future.

          The ball is rolling for the past many years in that direction. A look at the local, state and country-wide stats reveal the huge magnitude of work being done to that extent. This is particularly the case with this country which has a huge catching-up work to do. While India should retain the tradition and its ancient culture, it should re-invent and grow into the future inside-out. The development should not be peripheral and mere superficial. It should come from the ground level through the ascendency of the people to a higher plane signified by the external projections. For instance, sophisticated and better infrastructure is not development unless the people grow. The people are becoming better and sophisticated infrastructure projects signifying the development have lined up all over the country. It is astonishing to see the thousands and lakhs of crores of development projects initiated or completed in the past few years. Many leaders at local, state and national level have leveraged the trend and caught the train to destination development. Those who missed can still hop-on to get along the wave. I witnessed it in the city, in my residing state and heavily at the national level. To just quote one example, the central government had listed 6800 projects as part of 100 lakh crore national infrastructure pipeline to roll out by 2025. Times of epic proportion enable us to think and act on epic scale. This is all once again premised on our Karma, our deeds and efforts to inspire and develop.

          For my part, I already did a lot, doing and if I stare into the future, the path is – To do or give away. Some things get clearer beforehand, some along the way and some when there is a brief lapse in action reminding you of duty and requirements to fulfil. The above is from the last category. I came till here unknowingly and the path ahead is a known unknown.

          As can be seen from the above, I oscillate between the epicentre of exposition to the epicentre of action in frequent intervals. Let me drift to the recent expose of drug menace in the country in general and Bollywood in particular. I donot know how people look at anything from a narrow viewpoint. Drugs are there in Bollywood but Bollywood is not in drugs. Some people should not be under false impression that drugs are everywhere and everyone is in drugs. It has gone to the extent of severe allegations about the huge origin of drugs in Andhra Pradesh by members of opposition. The state was rocked by the reprisal acts of damage by the ruling party on TDP office and on houses of other leaders. Even the government of Telengana took a hard stand on the drug menace in the state and pledged to make it drug-free. The country as well seized thousands of kilograms of drugs in various parts.

          Regarding the lash out by NCB on a cruise ship involving youngsters of Bollywood in possession of drugs, the incident is hugely unfortunate. We should cleanse our contacts, cleanse our acts and remain far from harm’s way. These acts are pushing these kids to act in danger zone and it is the responsibility of the concerned to safeguard them. While Bollywood provide much needed entertainment to fans all over the world, there is an expectation that it is clean as well. There are icons of that stature within the fraternity who can serve as role models to travel in their path without needlessly going astray. After the highly unfortunate incident last year, this one and several others came up at present. It is high time these incidents are prevented from occuring, for these stars to perform some auspicious acts.
