Thoughts on Confinement, Decade In Hyderabad, Smart Cities and 'AAP'solute Win
Let me tell you my story which has two
sides of same coin. If I start with the negative side first, it is an open fact
that I am leading a movement in the country. While I intend to work in a
progressive manner, but due to the continuity nature, the effect produces vacuum
for violence and unintended results. No one ever must have been as regular as I am.
Because of the regular nature within me, I know some of them refer me as a
police or a soldier who is always on duty come what may. While I would like to
be called as such, there is harm in acting as such. At certain moments, either
things get out of control, the impact will be out of limits or the person who
is doing all this cannot be stopped. It would be better if he is managed well
for his own good by keeping him in a prison or jail. Since self-imprisonment is
not an option, someone must force it upon him and put him in confinement and
restrict his mobility.
When a person is out of control and being
over regular, Indian people take a step back and let the person carry on
without restricting him. It is about taking a step back and let the monster run
amuck. No one would take a step forward and block his path or stop him. This is
a peculiar Indian tendency which does no good to them or the person either. It
is all about managing or supervising something which gives you good returns.
Someone need to do me a favour and put me in confinement for a good few months
or years. There are many helpless
Indians who need this favour as well. There are many instances in recent times
when most felt that I need to be jailed but that did not materialized. I need
to be detained like politicians in Kashmir after abrogating article 370. My
life would be normalized if this step is taken and I can lead a stable life.
I
would mention again that I need to be managed well by forcing me to break every
now and then. Like the many challenges which are being thrown, I would like to
challenge anyone to imprison me if you can or break me if you can. Like the
police do, the best way to stop a person is to overtake him and come across his
way. There is no one manly enough to do that to me till now. Like the great
Indian freedom movement in which many great leaders were put in prison multiple
times, the same has to be followed in this greatest ever post-independence
movement so that the action can take place in chunks of time and can be
extended over decades rather than all at once in a short burst. The Britishers
kept the Indian leaders in jails out of fear of giving Independence but it was
a blessing in disguise to leaders like Gandhi, Nehru. Mahatma Gandhi was
imprisoned for 13 times in total which made the freedom movement staggered
across 4 decades or more. Both Gandhi and Nehru wrote great books during their
time in prison.
When you are leading a movement of similar
magnitude it must be controlled and checked time and again or else it will
dangerously spill out of proportions. Where are the Britishers of modern day
and what are they doing when they have a job in hand. It should not be the case
that Indians are bad at self-management or there has to be a master to oversee
things. If not for the mild Indians, my story will not happen anywhere else in
the world. I would have been nabbed or kidnapped or done something without
allowing me to rise so high like the uncontrolled nuclear fission chain
reaction in an atom bomb. The problem is that I am too good to make a mistake
or break the law or protest the government on the ground which does not give a
chance to anyone to act against me or confine me. Nevertheless, I am indirectly
responsible for lot of violence in the country and elsewhere which is a reason
good enough to nab me. There has to be procedures in place to check threats
like me and minimize the threat by arresting me. This has to be contemplated
seriously and all the good people need to be arrested time and again for their
own good. Prison reforms need to be taken up and must be used as a tool to
shape up an individual and prepare him in doing something constructive and
meaningful. Individuals like Gandhi, Nehru, Nelson Mandela would not have been
the same if not for the prison life they lead. The government did well to
detain politicians in Kashmir which will teach them harsh lessons and shape up
the character for future struggles. I am waiting in the queue next for anyone
to do the same to me.
Like a person who is dangerously out in the
open roaming unabatedly, I am killing people, breeding jealousy and negativity.
These qualities are precisely sheltered in Asuras or devils who torture,
torment, make people weep and kill their spirit. This is one of the unwanted
effects of me being unconfined and playing heavily with people’s emotions.
Everyone should start second freedom movement for getting freed from the aura
of this Asura. Everyone is entitled to a peaceful, happy, lively, energetic and
a positive life without any mental torture and disturbance from external
forces. I made life a living hell for many people torturing them like an Asura
in hell. Living in the South, which is the land of Asuras, I must have fully
imbibed their qualities. This is the silent and quiet Asura Reincarnated to cripple
the faculties of people. I am in a way flourishing Tamo Gunam by being evil
and destructive. When will this bondage break and the aura becomes nullified
where everyone live life of their own without someone hijacking their own
lives? It can be nullified if I am chained like a most wanted criminal for few
months or years.
Coming to the positive side of the story, these
above rants will subside when the ‘favour’ is done to me. Getting ahead of ranting
truths, there is business as usual. It has been as usual since the past many
years. I stepped on the land of Hyderabad for my first job in the March of 2010
and it has been exactly 10 years. Earlier I did my Intermediate for two years
in the same city but my actual work started in the second term after my
education is over. Let me pause and say what a breath-taking decade it has been
by experimenting on the apparatus laid down by the city. Like many of my kind,
if Andhra is my Janma Bhoomi, Hyderabad is my Karma Bhoomi. After
the past CM Chandrababu built Cyberabad or the Modern Hyderabad, many like me
are the beneficiaries of his work. We have the road laid out by him and
effortlessly walked on it to begin my journey in the city. If he worked for 10
years to give future for people like me, I worked for 10 more years to give
future to many more after me.
To begin the journey, I stayed in Eastern
part of the city but my job is in Western side. The three hour journey in the
evening is really painful to people like me and I used to think of any
alternative. On the foundation of our pains, Metro is built to ease the
journey. It has become a working model for cities all over India and everyone
started building it. The transportation has been revolutionized all over the
country and the pains of travel on Indian roads has been eased. The population
may be a concern on roads but the journey should not be a worry for any person.
This has been made possible at least to some extent. This metro is one of the
most visible change during my time.
Another change to me personally is the
place I am working. The present work place is not even existent when I came to
the city and started operations after a year. Now there are tens of thousands
working there and the work place is also in Eastern part which eased my life. I
once again played my part in the developments through the toil of all these
years. If not for my work place, I could not have sustained for 1.4 years in
the second innings. No other place can sustain me at a stretch for so long. In
the 2000s, there is a single Ramoji Film City (RFC) in the city but now there
are 3 or 4 including my work campus. Large areas of land being developed into
beautiful campuses for various purposes has been taken up in the city in the
last decade. This can be followed across the country. When many pockets of land
is landscaped and brought into better utilization, it will automatically
develop the whole land and make it elegant and dust free. As mentioned, these
kind of campuses serve as miniature models and should be followed as an example
everywhere.
The present government by TRS is also working well
over the past 6 years for the growth of the city and attracting investments.
The population of the city increased by 32% or by 25 lakhs to 1 crore in 2020
from 75 lakhs in 2010.At 10.5 million sq. ft., Hyderabad is number two in office
space absorption in India in 2019.It means that a lot of corporations and
companies are looking at Hyderabad to set up shop here. There is also huge
increase in the income, revenue contributed by the city to the state and
centre. This increase follows natural process and will continue the same for
the next few decades. The government must catch up with this increase in demand
and create necessary infrastructure as per the experts. In the real estate as
well, everything is going well with Hyderabad, making it the city that is
showing balanced and all-round growth.
Leaving the numbers aside, the city has
given a lot of support to me in the last 10 years during my ups and down. The
city welcomed me back after each of my failed foreign visits and provided a way
to keep me back on my feet. The city provided all the environment for me to
lead a movement over the last few years which has an impact nationally and
globally. The entire 1 crore population of the city swayed to my tunes in the
last decade and helped me to grow by leaps and bounds. By virtue of all the
contribution made till date and keeping the prospects as well, Hyderabad should
be made the second capital of the country besides Delhi. It is a decision which
everyone can come to consensus easily. Whatever happens here will be an
inspiration for the rest of the country. In the last few years, the city has
become the face of India’s growth story. Owing to all this, the centre must
support further to make it a mega city and support local bodies in that
direction.
When I talk about Hyderabad, the country is
not just about Hyderabad or few big cities. You should not neglect the tier 1,2
cities and towns and must take along with you as you march ahead. The
government has taken up 100 smart cities project 5 years back which are citizen
friendly and sustainable. Since the growth in big cities is almost at the
highest level, the government must concentrate on next grade cities and turn them
into gold. Even these 100 smart cities is inadequate and should consider 250 or
500 smart cities to renovate. But the government is good at planning and
inadequate in working. In the 2014 budget, 7000 crore was allocated to smart
cities. But only 900 crore was spent in that year due to which the budget
allocated only 143 crore in next year for smart cities. This reveals there are
lapses in execution and the government must shed its sluggishness in carrying
the mission forward. Around 50% of population lives in these cities and they
should be made part of the growth story. Other than just the capital city,
promotion of the all round growth and decentralize development of the state
must have been the motive behind the 3 capital theory of the state of A.P. While this thought process is commendable,
all parties must agree to the blueprint and should not deviate in the future
for the sake of personal and political equations.
By virtue of the work I am doing, there has
been a heightened activity being witnessed in the country. I can sense the
people are reacting well to the stimulus I provide to them. When you work in
this mode with lot of momentum going your way, any goal becomes easy to
achieve. In the gatherings I often go, there is a prayer song which has a line
that the nation must reach Param Vaibhavamor the supreme glory. The line
inspires me and gets me attached to its meaning. We must all strive to bring
supreme glory to the nation and my present work is a step in that direction. We
must unite the organisations, individuals and other entities with our work and
bring out the combined energy of the synergies for the common goal. After
reading both the negative and positive side of the results generating out of my
actions, is it fair to say that I am doing good to the society. I sincerely
hope that my actions give the best positive results to the society and somehow negate
negatives.
Going back to the top, state elections have
been conducted and results came out in capital state of Delhi. It is a great
win for the team AAP which has routed the opponents decisively. This gives hope
for every common man across the country to question established norms, enter
politics and bring a desired change over a period. It is the third win in the
last 7 years for AAP and was conferred another 5 years. As indicated, it is the
momentum which can do wonders to the people and AAP must seize it to really
benefit the people of Delhi. It has been vindicated that the common mans party
and not the big political party with seasoned politicians, was most powerful.
Being an ordinary person myself, I would also like to enter the fray and
contest in elections. But parties of sort AAP may not stand a chance in other
states if not in Delhi. Nonetheless, it
is a great opportunity for schools, hospitals in the state to flourish in the
coming years and serve its people well.
These days I am writing lengthy posts and
it appears that I am talking a lot through the blog but the truth is I am only
conveying many of my thoughts which are deeply impressed within me. Treat it as
a comprehensive treatise of my thoughts in mind and my small steps towards
writing detailed passages. I repeat once again that it not mere talk but
heart-felt impressions. I cannot help if you miss what it is. I came a long way
to write these lengthy passages and always try to reach the next level. Indeed,
the passage reflects my current state of being and if I am mustering so many
thoughts and putting together all of them, it reveals that I am doing very
well. When I am doing very well, even to the extent of being greedy, and
reaching new levels then it not something to be dismissed as mere talk. There
will be a loss if you pass on jewels as ordinary stones. Leaving it aside, why
is it I write these days and throw something at you. One of the main reasons is
I need to justify the risks taken, justify my actions and justify my existence.
I put a lot of people under risk during my everyday routines. A lot of people
come out of their way to accommodate me. Why is it required and what is it for?
Without a higher purpose, greater cause and lofty ideals, my living, what I go
through and what I put others into is never justified. When the severity of my
situation and the severity of the cause matches, it brings impact and justifies
my living. Since I cannot contribute to these noble causes on the ground and in
real life, I write about them in my blog so that people are aware of them and
they in turn act on the ground. Best thing is to act in reality, the second
best thing is to talk or write about it.
