Few Idiosyncratic Disorders, Freebies and 'Peaceful' Insights

My actions, thoughts, dealings, discussions, emotions and everything related to me are an open book and fully transparent. Everyone is entitled to a public life - that which is captured by the public eye and a private life - behind the four closed walls. A general person balances these two by living half time public and half time private. A celebrity who complains of privacy lives 70% of time public and 30% private. Few noble souls goes beyond this and achieve 90% public living. If there is anyone who is living on 100% public glare all the time, it is me. I have been living as such since the last decade or more. According to my own definition, public living is that kind of life which is always under spotlight, which is spotless or without any blemish, which is morally correct, which is generally accepted, which is inspiring to be more, which is filled with good deeds, which is unidimensional and which is worth living. This is for the simple reason that I am not bold enough to do a private act in public. I am very shy and gives lot of importance to general perception or general opinion about me and that it should be always good. All of this over a period of time leads to a great personality which is extremely naïve, childish, immature, casting a heavy spell all around and invoking constant laugh riots.
This constant ‘public’ living is nothing but constant nationalistic living. One who lives for the good opinion of others will only do good deeds for the benefit of others and eventually in the interest of the nation. It has emerged that a part of my recent posts were also very nationalistic tackling larger issues like episodes of Satyamev Jayate T.V. program. If this kind of work and momentum rages unabated then the entire dynamics of the nation can be altered for the better. A issue of Himalayan magnitude needs a person of Himalayan stature to work at and have a profound impact. But this genre of nationalism is too much and I would like to move on to any other genre (better love stories if I can write one). I only think about P.M’s, C.M’s most of the time. When you get into a particular groove, you become habituated to it and gets into its comfort zone. If you switch to any other groove or environment, then you break the monotony and keep reinventing yourself. This will also helps a great deal when you switch back to your original or favorite path. As a saying goes, too much of darkness kills but too much of light can also make you blind. Medicine for all issues and problems can also become poison after its expiry date. Likewise, that which is nationalistic and seemingly too good can become antinational and evil after a period of time. Moderation and not addiction is the key to lasting enjoyment. That said, no one knows what destiny’s plans are for me and I am a mere puppet in its hands. Whether I remain good or become evil, only time will tell.
At the end of each passing day which is well spent, a feeling of surreality or euphoria creeps through like a wave hitting the face on the sea shores. This has become a new normal and I can’t tell why this bliss occurs other than expecting to get locked in those moments forever. But I goes through different phases each single day and what next hour will be like is anyone’s guess.  These days a day well spent has become synonymous to a day after going through many tough moments or risks which will only give those high returns of feel good feelings on the investments made.
When the leaders at the helm are working fine, the functioning of the government will be efficient in its deliverables. When the government works hard with various welfare schemes, programs and freebies, it is the common man and below middle class man that should get benefitted. The govt. need not cater to high and middle income groups. The powers of a leader should help those who are under privileged and lesser fortunate. These days, there are many welfare programs and freebies to cater to the needy. There is a perception that freebies make a citizen irresponsible and dependent. To me, doling out these freebies is never a wrong thing to do. It equip them to lead much better life with dignity and respect. The fruits of labor from the hard working leaders should go directly to the coffers of the lesser fortunate. The leaders must do this service and government must be the largest (N).G.O. in the country. Those who have this penchant to serve must only enter politics. Only then you can see an inclusive growth in the nation. India is still a country where 1% of people has nearly 75% of its wealth. I don’t mind if a lesser fortunate person enjoys my hardship. The impoverished, downtrodden and untouchables must be the objects of worship. Giving out subsidies, freebies and other welfare measures to that extent must not be looked with suspicion but rather as utmost necessity. Recently Ayushmaan Bharat Yojana or PM JAY was launched in the country. Under this scheme, Rs. 5 lakh health coverage will be given to those who need it the most, making it the largest government funded health care program in the world which is one such example of many freebies.
While there are incremental programs being run in the country, there are detrimental  policies going on else where. A full blown trade war is happening between U.S and China. How come the two super powers which should be at peace with each other have locked horns? The reason projected by the U.S is the unfair trade practices by the China. To be frank, U.S. looks at everything else as an unfair element other than its own image in the mirror. The country has been at war 93% of time since its existence i.e. 222 out of 239 years are war years since 1776. No U.S president truly qualifies as a peacetime president. Instead, all U.S presidents can technically be considered as war-mongering or war presidents. There is no one else to blame other than the POTUS for war-happy leadership and setting the benchmark for future POTUS to mandatorily follow and emulate the war heroics. A peace loving President is an outsider and alien to the nation. Very recently, the nation waged  a cold war with the then super power U.S.S.R and won it by all means, besides waging number of wars with smaller nations.
U.S. takes pride in designing advanced weapons, manufacturing them in large scale, distributing them around the world and promoting their usage by actively waging wars. What a catastrophically spoilt kid of a nation. Worse still, this spoilt brat is leading the world, dictating terms and threatening everyone else to mend ways without mending its own ways. If the status and riches you enjoy today are built upon a pile of bodies, then better do not try to become one in first place. It is all due to the skewed priorities of its leaders. As always, diplomacy should be the highest form of governance, war – cold or trade should be the lowest form of governance. You have to prepare your own leaders by making them to imbibe the highest ideals of governance not resort to lowest constantly. As a leader, you have to work to the extent of making friends with the enemies for greater good of propagating peace around the world. A nation needs to have a culture of non-violence and promoters of it placed at the highest level. Attitudes of confrontation and aggression need to be replaced by their softer counterparts. Everyone hopes that this trade war recedes without further escalation and normal trade continues to prosper.
