Review of a Melancholic Phase and Few Politically Sane Insights

                    Since the time I last posted, there are many days of importance which flew by into the dark uncaptured. These moments cannot be kept track of as each single day form a link to the huge unbroken chain growing its reach day by day and I will put a few perspectives which comes to the present state of mind. Hardly any person can work beyond this upper limit of action without falling for any danger and yet continue to do the adventures which can be watched like a new movie on a regular basis. You don’t see many people who go through hell for the cause, entertainment and amusement of the audience and it is extremely painful to see the coldblooded people expecting more of these without any thought for the person who puts his everything inline.

                    As these ordeals are never uncommon, a period for memory occurred when I confined within the four walls for four days binge watching and staying in a state of low slumber. This has been dreamt of but never became a reality in the past decade. I always leave to destiny to take over me and it put me for few days of rest. After giving in for many days and years, karma relieved me and I got an escape from my deeds. This is a period which many good people wished for and their aspirations saw the light momentarily before nudging me into the quick sand again.

                    The break vehemently made me realize the importance of working religiously and regularly. There are moments of thought which made me go for the standards of excellence for which I had been recognized. I had been the descendant of a culture back home with a habit of being regular irrespective of comfort and convenience. I cannot say if it is a time tested method of sustenance in long run but this very culture has been the growth engine for past many years driving everyone else. I was made to follow these high standards of living despite of rain, sun, health, emotions and any external factors. No one single person can follow this unless it is a part of prevalent practice. This is also a product of motivation and spur resulting from the desire to attain a higher mode of living. This is a model which is there for any place or a group or a leader to take over, inspire and emulate for the greater good.

                    Another way to look at this break is one cannot work without unwinding and fully charged. A half energetic person will only give half output, drains faster and is never reliable or capable to work. There is emphasis on taking proper break for few months before becoming useful to any employer. No job-giver can lay his confidence fully in me and my words by seeing me in this sorry state. This has been advocated to me long back but as I said this is not in my hands alone to exercise and relegated to theory.

                   A third factor which hit me during these times and more practical is there is only a fine narrow path through which I can navigate since I cannot have everything intact in US if I lay to rest. This is because of the maze I am into, the work which might have been relied upon, timing and many other factors within and out of my direct control but within the circle of influence which are all a cause to worry. This bring to the mind a situation projected by an executive of a reputable company. He said the applications of a company cannot be brought down and undergo maintenance. It is similar to a flying plane which has to be repaired or maintained in the mid-air. The plane has to travel and it has to be repaired which means both need to go hand-in-hand. This is the struggle laid out for me and anyone who searches for a great result. I already travelled as such for last few years without ever bringing myself down completely. This is the kind of outlook to serve which needs to be emulated or at least supported but not cringe to the lowest of levels to ridicule, repress.

                     In this heat of going and performing great acts above the orbit, I ran myself into a perilous situation. For every move, I had to overcome a lot of resistance, hurt egos, threats and face envious moments all the time. You inspire when you go against the tide and scale hurdles of Himalayan magnitude.  A majority of people always act in a way so that consensus is reached and search for comfort at slightest traction. The decisions to embark on these journeys are mostly unilateral and I had been left on my own with no one to take care of my wellbeing. These kind of travails against the tradition ought to be taken if you are to achieve anything worthy, expand the horizons of what is accepted, lay new paths for next generation. People back home need to have these path-breakers who beat the conventional path, take bold steps and be relentless and dedicated to the pursuit.  

                   Ever since I came here few months back, an activity which drains a lot out of me is an unknown drive to book a reservation back home and cancel it. On all these occasions, I felt betrayed, deceived and I had to respond to the injustice caused to me. Every good person will go through these phases in life where he will face a lot of similar tests and had to tolerate them for fulfilling the obligation set forth. I had a thought to escape this traction and go back to home nation where life is much smoother. Though these transient states made me to book the journey, the silver lining is I never exercised it after recovering my senses and thinking a lot in the end. Flying back is inevitable but need to be guarded against these emotions driving the decisions.

                     Over the last many months, there are few developments in U.S. which are not in line with the common sense expected in general. I myself wondered if it is correct and writing my mind here.  Coming from India, where the systems are much better in the past few decades, there are no political fights when the cause of the whole nation is at stake. Representatives unanimously agree to any significant plan which alters the course of nation in a better way. Opposition criticizes constructively and don’t act to decimate the governments flagship programs meant for common good. They even respect the finer work went into making it happen and if possible reciprocate with their own great programs instead of overruling and uprooting a ruling government’s work of a lifetime.  

                     Coming to the present topic - The subjects of the story are two political outfits. One party vouches for the reason, sense and tackles the problem like they are expected to be solved in a scientific manner. This stand is not very easy and only a few people with good track record can get into this work. The other is the extreme opposite of this with representatives working and talking as per the whims and fancies, rejecting everything done by the previous government when the world over praised. Obviously there a lot of people in this party with majority everywhere. I heard talks from all the representatives of the party that they will repeal and replace a prestigious program of previous government. What good will they ever do to the populace with these skewed priorities of catering to personal equations. Rejection is easy, talk is easier too but difficult to build something, takeover the baton, continue the good work and sustain the name and fame of a program.
