Take On My Experiences In New Mode - 6

I talked about the table-turning scenario of my current state in the last episode of the ongoing serial. The reality is the tables are heavily clamped to the ground and yet to move an inch. Getting on boarded is becoming difficult and taking a toll like a sail against the tide. Couple this with the persistent problems due to the new mode and the growing under-current opposition elsewhere for my presence in foreign land, you are always in dilemma to decide whether to make or break.

I promoted myself underscoring the unique traits of my living far away from home in the last episode. To emphasize the promotion of this version of happenings, there is always a need to tell such first accounts to make a difference. Though this story is unique, I am no different than anyone else. In fact there are many others who are much sharper, brighter and intellectual but do not press to reach milestones for common good. The greater inherent capabilities will only externalize when the objectives and interests are broader than the self. If not you are as good as another lay man. There are three types of people: 1. Those who live on others 2. Those who live along with others 3. Those who live for others. The first category is demon and evil, the second human and last category transcends humanity with their love. People always yearn for the third category and the real impact it brings along while comfortably placing themselves in the first two. You always like a self-effacing warrior and his intents but if he is from a neighbors house. But this apparent madness has a place in this foreign land. They don’t mind if that kind of mentality emanates in close quarters and encourages those mad traits in own house. This has got to do only with the evolution and progress made thus far.

To devolve onto easier subjects, there are few visits and travels which are made in the recent past. During the first visit, I need to travel on a train. This is not entirely different experience from what I gone through back home. The only difference is the people I am surrounded by are all 10 generations ahead of me. But if this generational progress follows a circle, which it should and not a linear rise then I can presume myself to be 10 generations ahead of them in degeneration. On other note, the quality standards are beyond imagination and reach for someone like me who likes quality. I accidentally entered a coach named quiet car and got surprised by the silence. Thinking of it as another sign board to neglect and to generate some activity, I started a small conversation on phone. This drew an immediate motion of reprimand from a hitherto motionless person next to me to keep quiet signaling the sign board. Rules are meant to be conformed. I tried to comprehend the concept of this quietness in the broad day light and in a public place. This might be to encourage living in peace and discourage talking to strangers. I always felt a high when I opened a conversation with an unknown person. This pushes introverts to become more introverts. I observed the passengers are not sleeping, slacking and savoring sweet moments. Anyways, I happily retreated to my cocoon and observed everyone else who are all working away on laptops and meditating in silence.

After a while, I became interested to visit a rest room since the experience was pretty bad on trains back home. The facility was clean and some blue liquid flushed after the use. This is a sea change from home land where everything done in rest rooms finds a way out onto the poor tracks. I felt the trains charge way higher here due to the provisions in rest room, though I did not see anyone using it. In some time a big city which is nick named as Philly arrived and everyone got out. These people love other people, pets, places and everything they lay their eyes on. Hearing weird names of the places is common and not nick names. I saw signs all over with the name Philly. The train moved in reverse direction and arrived at the final destination which I thought would be a big village as there are only few people left. But it is a state capital and I find the men in this place are not quite as mad as in the place I came from. They are more approachable, pleasant and standing still.  On the contrast, the citizens of the big city where I am coming from are all extremely busy, quick in gestures and running with urgency similar to responding a tough nature call.

Big cities comes with their own set of abnormalities. Few years ago, I saw an incident on T.V. when a reporter was trying to ask a woman walking on a busy street what she thinks of this city hosting the Olympics. At first the woman was so busy walking she did not bothered to reply. After the reported asked again, she came up with ‘I don’t want the mess’. I am yet to get out of this puzzle wherein people elsewhere promote their places with fat campaigns but these guys simply shrug it off. In another incident, I heard on a radio a 70 year old lady working as RJ, easing the pains of 40 and 50 year old men after they broke apart from their second or third partners. She is referring them as sweetie. I thought the caller must be a little kid only to get a mild surprise after few moments. Kids were looked after by adults and adults by super adults (or old people). There is no one retiring or out of doing their roles.

In another world, a team of 30 great retired cricket stars are touring U.S. with a motto to globalize the sport in this country. Their efforts need to bear fruit given the list of names and the bag of achievements they carry. This is more easy since the sport has a cousin Baseball which is played and watched fervently. But Cricket is an art and Baseball is a science. The former is elegance and the latter is brute force. Nevertheless, both have its own elements to master and evince interest of the audience.
