After the initial hiccups, the sailing in the training became relatively smooth and may it stay as such till the end. Thanks to the strong dollar, the computing industry has generated lot of wealth and employment. This has ushered in a certain degree of financial independence – which was hitherto enjoyed by a elite few – to those with second tier of brains. My complains of the peripheral hardships here would have been unmatched with the real struggles had I graduated a decade or two earlier.
