Thoughts In A Wandering Mind

I  had been living in the U.S. for the past 9 months and most of the time, as everyone knew, I am working from home. I do get two days off every week and the question arises as in how I spend the time when not working. Even if not every week, at least twice in a month I am spending time visiting new places. This has been my go-to option since the past many months in U.S. This post is all about the same – a tourist on a visitor visa rather than a worker on a H1 visa. I hate to admit but it has been the reality which had happened without any deviation. Since I am writing on this, let me give you my two cents on the notion of ‘visiting new places’. As a child, I never visited public places in my own city itself. There is a small public museum in my hometown where I grew up and I never bothered to visit the place till date. I would like to put it straight that I am not off to prove a point or embarrass any one through this activity of voicing my two cents on some area of interest. I would like to get it across like a noble and divine activity which brings out something good for someone or other. I can hit a self-goal if it caters to third grade objectives . Hence, the whole notion, as envisioned by many, is to bring out the best and present it in this medium to share the narratives which in turn will shape the actions of individuals. We can say a write-up as divine as a constitution should dictate the direction and rules of a country. A popular medium of expression should bring out the inner realities around us and present as a compass to the contemporary world. Anything popular should be responsible and reasonable. In this post, let us try to get hold of some internal views and outcomes from these times. I had written long back, couple of years ago back in India itself, that the days are going a bit unusual in that I am feeling great whenever the populace is feeling bad and feeling bad whenever the public is feeling good. If I am riding high, feeling great for some days, there is a good chance that it hurts quite a few. If I am feeling down and out, bad and negative, there is a good possibility that many are feeling great and positive. The vibes matter, emotions matter and leading a great life with a purpose encompassing all these encounters matters in the end to produce something great and out of ordinary. Everyone look at good means to produce average outcomes but when we are after great outcomes the means can sometimes be haphazard, uncertain and difficult.
