I owe a lot to the U.S. for making my story and for being who I am , standing on this day. I remember staring at emptiness when I came in January 2015 and the way it unfolded after nearly 9 .5 years . A look back at this near decade tells a bulk p ortion has been contributed by U.S. It is unlike any other journey but a carefully woven fabric as a lot of factors fell in place leading me to live my every day. Every day is a navigation through many networks of paths each falling in place to give a day as it is. The past two years I have been staying in a state with tag name  ‘Land of Lincoln’ - the President who have lived in this state and the greatest to have overlooked the state of affairs in this nation even till date. After nearly 160 years , there is no equivalent to him in the modern-day nation which still cherishes his memory . The general elections for the next five-year term have arrived in India. The 2024 Indian general election is currently underway, and it is the world’s largest democratic exercise. The election is being held in seven phases across the country from April 19 to June 1, 2024, in which eligible voters fr om India’s population of 1.4 billion will cast their ballots to decide who will fill the 543 seats of more powerful lower house of parliament and who will become the India’s next Prime Minister. The first phase has already been past us on April 19 and there are 6 upcoming days of polling till June 1 in different parts of the country. The counting of the votes will take place on June 4th, and we will know the results on th e very day. We will be waiting  nearly for   40 days for th e voting to take p lace and give us a picture of the next leader for five years.
